To help you in your transition to life as a Friedman School student, an orientation program will be held on Tuesday, August 30, and Wednesday, August 31. Attendance is mandatory for all incoming students.

Orientation will be a mix of "housekeeping issues," social events, and academic advising. At the end of Orientation, we hope you will have a better feel for our school, our staff, and the campus at large.

Events Requiring Pre-Registration

Two social events during Orientation require pre-registration. The first event, the Boston Harbor Sunset Cruise, will be held on Thursday, September 1. The registration deadline is Monday, August 22, and the cost is $10.00. The second event, the Boston Duck Tour, will be held on Saturday, September 17. The registration deadline is Monday, August 22, and the cost is $10.00. A money order or a check made payable to Trustees of Tufts College should be mailed as soon as possible for these events. Please note that you may bring guests to the social events. See registration forms for guest ticket prices.

Please mail the forms and payments to:

Lori Ioannone, Office of Student Affairs
Tufts University, Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy
150 Harrison Avenue, Room 123
