My favorite opportunity at the Friedman School was my summer internship. As an MS/MPH dual-degree student with the School of Medicine, I was able to take part in two internships: 1) drafting of a national nutrition policy in the tiny Pacific Island nation of Niue (population 1,100), and 2) evaluating an anemia prevention program for adolescent girls in West Bengal, India with UNICEF.
